Glendevin is a beautiful self-catering base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands; it ideally located only fifteen minutes southwest of Fort William, and only ten minutes from the majestic Glencoe. The house is large enough to accommodate groups of up to twelve people and is suitable for children and well behaved pets.
The area surrounding Glendevin is alive with wildlife, including roe deer, garden birds, red squirrels and occasionally the exquisite Golden Eagles in the distance. The house and village are surrounded by woodlands, which offer spectacular walks with views over Loch Linnhe to the islands. A short drive to Glencoe offers many more hill walking opportunities, or for the very keen, Ben Nevis near Fort William presents a much greater challenge.
Glendevin is a perfect location for a family holiday in the highlands of Scotland. The house itself is tastefully furnished, and all rooms have television and tea/coffee making facilities. Ample parking is available, as is free Wi-Fi Broadband. There is a small play park opposite the house, as well as a fully enclosed decking area on the ground floor and on the first floor which would be suitable as a play area for young children.
If you choose to dine out during your stay, the nearest restaurant is the Four Seasons Pub & Restaurant; it is family friendly and serves local produce whenever possible.
